Peranan Suplemen dalam Tata Laksana Infertilitas

Josephine Herwita Atepela Brenda C

Abstract

Infertility defined as the absence of pregnancy after 12 months of routine sexual intercourse without protection or contraception. Infertility has devastating effects both personally and socially by increasing incidence of domestic violence, divorce, emotional stress, and low self-esteem. Infertility can be caused by either male or female factors. Antioxidant and micronutrient supplementation has been widely studied to increase fertility directly and indirectly by reducing oxidative stress and improving reproductive function.
