This issue of CDK features articles of particular interest to hospital administrators, given that patient satisfaction and reporting systems are critical aspects—and key factors in evaluating the performance of hospitals and other healthcare institutions. The benefits and, especially, the challenges reported here can certainly serve as valuable insights for peer evaluations among healthcare institution administrators. Similarly, the report on burn care management should provide valuable input for improving services across all healthcare facilities.
The management of triplet pregnancies, especially in limited-resource facilities, is certainly worth studying and can serve as a stimulus for improving services in every facility; additionally, several other case reports related to factors that need attention in the future; how to maximize available resources to provide the best possible care.
The use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy—in this report for sudden deafness—should open new horizons for treatment options; similarly, several discussions regarding various skin conditions are expected to enhance the clinical knowledge and skills of all colleagues.
