Peer Review Process

Cermin Dunia Kedokteran Journal uses the standard OJS review process to manage article reviews. The Standard Review Process guides reviewers through each stage, ensuring a complete review history for each submitted article and using automatic reminder notifications and standard recommendations (Accepted, Accepted with revisions, Submitted for review, Rejected, and See comments).

An editor first reviews the submitted article. The manuscript is evaluated early to determine whether it aligns with the journal's focus and scope, complies with general writing guidelines, or requires improvement (see Author Guidelines). Each manuscript that passes this stage will be checked for plagiarism before reviewers review it. One reviewer is appointed from another institution (national or international). This journal uses a double-masked review process, in which manuscripts are sent to reviewers anonymously. Reviewer comments are also sent anonymously to the corresponding author to take the necessary action and provide a response. Decisions regarding revised articles will be evaluated at an editorial board meeting, and the final decision will be sent to the corresponding author.

The editor will send the article to the reviewer via the website or email, and the reviewer will access the journal's website to complete the review process. Reviewers log in to the journal's website to agree to review an article, download the article, submit comments, and make recommendations.
