Diagnosis dan Tatalaksana Entropion

Entropion merupakan inversi margo palpebra, diklasifikasikan menjadi empat tipe, yaitu senilis/involusional, kongenital, akut spastik, dan sikatriks. Kelainan ini mirip dengan kelainan palpebra lainnya seperti retraksi palpebra, distikiasis, trikiasis, dermatokalasis, dan epiblefaron. Entropion dapat menimbulkan komplikasi konjungtivitis, keratitis, dan ulkus kornea. Umumnya entropion memiliki prognosis baik apabila didiagnosis dini dan ditatalaksana dengan tepat. Dalam tinjauan ini, akan dibahas diagnosis dan penatalaksanaan entropion.
Entropion is the inversion of the lid margin, classified into four types: senile/involutional, congenital, acute spastic, and cicatricial. This disorder is similar to other lid disorders such as retracted lid, distichiasis, trichiasis, dermatokalasis, and epiblepharon. Entropion may cause complications such as conjunctivitis, keratitis, and corneal ulcer. It generally has good prognosis if diagnosed and treated early. In this review, we discuss about diagnosis and management of entropion.
