Terapi Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT) untuk Fasciitis Plantaris

Abstract

Fasciitis plantaris merupakan penyebab terbanyak nyeri tumit. Kelainan ini sering pada usia 45-64 tahun dan lebih sering pada wanita. Tatalaksana konservatif meliputi modifikasi aktivitas, non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID), peregangan, injeksi kortikosteroid, dan extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT). Prosedur ESWT tidak invasif dan terbukti efektif untuk fasciitis plantaris kronis yang tidak membaik dengan tatalaksana konservatif lain.
