Abstract

Penanganan post total hip & knee arthroplasty yang baik akan meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien. Selain edukasi dan rehabilitasi yang baik, penanganan nyeri termasuk fundamental pada post total joint arthroplasty. Penanganan nyeri dapat menggunakan anestesi epidural, obat analgesik dengan metode multimodal, dan injeksi periartikular. Artikel ini membahas prinsip penanganan nyeri multimodal post total hip & knee arthroplasty.

 

Good post-operative management after total hip & knee arthroplasty will improve patient’s quality of life. In addition to education and rehabilitation, pain management is fundamental in post total joint arthroplasty. Pain management includes epidural anesthesia, multimodal analgesic drugs, and periarticular injection. This review is on multimodal pain management in total hip & knee arthroplasty
