Abstract

Kebanyakan pasien memiliki batu saluran kemih bagian atas, sehingga penanganan batu saluran kemih bagian bawah seperti batu uretra sering terlupakan.

Urinary stone is the most frequent disease in urology. The incidence continues to increase in developing countries such as Indonesia. Most patients have upper urinary tractstones, consequently, lower urinary tract stones, such as urethral stone, are often neglected. Pain and acute urinary retention are the chief complaints of urethral stones and require immediate action. Limited endoscopic facilities add to the importance of acute management in emergency setting.
