Author Guidelines

CDK (Cermin Dunia Kedokteran) accepts manuscripts that discuss various aspects of health, medicine, and pharmacy, in the form of literature reviews, opinions, or research results in these fields, including case reports. Manuscripts sent to the Editor are those that are specifically for publication by CDK (have not been published in other journals); if they have been discussed or read at a scientific meeting, please provide information about the name, place, and time of the meeting.

GENERAL GUIDELINES
Manuscripts are written in Indonesian or English. If using Indonesian, it should follow the applicable Indonesian language rules (referring to Pedoman Umum Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia yang Disempurnakan, Pedoman Umum Pembentukan Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia). Medical terms should use standardized Indonesian terms as much as possible, or be given their Indonesian equivalents. The length of the manuscript ranges from 2000-3000 words, written with MS Word program, Times New Roman font size 12. The manuscript will be checked with Turnitin application, and the maximum similarity index limit is 25%.

ABSTRACT AND KEYWORDS
Each manuscript must be accompanied by an abstract in Indonesian and English, accompanied by 3-5 keywords arranged alphabetically. The abstract is written in 1 (one) paragraph and, for research articles, is unstructured in the introduction, methods, results, discussion (IMRAD) format. The maximum length of the abstract is 200 words. If it does not exist, the Editor has the right to make his own abstract in Indonesian and English for the manuscript.

Name(s) of the author(s): Listed in full (not abbreviated), along with professional titles (General Practitioner, Specialist Doctor Education Program, Specialist Doctor).
Author's Institution: Information on the institution/faculty/institute where they work and e-mail address.

TABLES/GRAPHICS/PICTURES/CHARTS
Tables/graphics/figures/charts that complement the manuscript should be as clear as possible and submitted separately in JPG format (minimum resolution of 150 dpi at actual size). Information on tables/graphics/figures/charts should be written in Indonesian as much as possible.

LITERATURE
The bibliography is organized according to the Vancouver rules. References are numbered in the order in which they appear in the manuscript. If the authors are six or less, list all; if seven or more, list the first six and add et al. The maximum amount of literature is 20 pieces, published in the last 10 years. There should be more primary literature (from journals, a minimum proportion of 40%) than secondary literature. Example of literature writing format according to Vancouver rules:
