Cermin Dunia Kedokteran (CDK) journal is a scientific medical journal that focuses on the development of medical science, pharmacy, and public health, oriented towards evidence-based practice, service innovation, and the integration of health policies in local, national, and global contexts. Articles are published under an open-access policy. Manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process; at least one reviewer will review articles relevant to the topic of the manuscript especially research articles, systematic reviews, meta-analysis articles, and evidence base case reports. The journal is published monthly (January to December).

 
Submitted articles must be original (written by the authors themselves and not the result of plagiarism) and must not be simultaneously submitted to, under review by, or in the process of publication in another journal or conference. Articles that fall outside the scope of the CDK Journal will not be processed for publication. Please read and follow the author guidelines.

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) remains an endemic problem that can spread and develop into an emergency at any time. Increased vigilance and accurate early detection are key to reducing the impact of this disease. The research articles on biomarkers in this edition are expected to serve as a basis for their application in clinical practice.  
The results of research among medical students in this edition are expected to add scientific evidence to support the development of counseling strategies and refine learning methods. These efforts are crucial, as medical education is an investment in human resources that plays a significant role in improving the quality of health services and public welfare.  
The various case reports presented are also expected to increase clinical awareness of risk factors and atypical disease manifestations, enabling appropriate diagnosis and management to be initiated as early as possible, using available resources, facilities, and diagnostic tools.     Cover by AltrendoImages-Envato element.
