Abstract

Pasien memiliki riwayat eksisi pterigium 1 bulan sebelumnya.

Conjunctival pyogenic granuloma is a benign vascular tumor after inflammation, such as post pterygium excision. This condition is thought due to incomplete wound healing. Case: Male, 44 year-old feels a lump in his left eye accompanied by redness since 1 week. He had a history of pterygium excision 1 month before. A granulomatous mass was found on the conjunctiva bulbi near the temporal limbus. Therapy consists of topical corticosteroids as initial therapy and surgical excision as further treatment option.
