Abstract

Ghrelin lebih dikenal sebagai hormon lapar atau hormon yang mengatur siklus kenyang-lapar mahkluk hidup. Fungsi reproduksi ghrelin mencakup aksi hipotalamus-hipofisis-gonad (ovarium dan testis) dan hormon reproduksi lain. Selain itu, ghrelin juga diketahui memiliki pengaruh pada proses patologis beberapa penyakit pada kehamilan dan infertilitas.

 

Ghrelin is better known as a hunger hormone or a hormone that regulates the cycle of satiety- hunger. The reproductive function of ghrelin includes action to the hypothalamus-pituitary-gonad (ovary and testis) axis and other hormones. Ghrelin is also known to influence the processes of several diseases in pregnancy and infertility.
