Abstract

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a common autoimmune disease in adolescents. Various clinical manifestations and unpredictable clinical course reslut in high morbidity and mortality. Two diagnostic criteria are: American College of Rheumatology (ACR) and Systemic Lupus International Collaborating Clinics (SLICC) criteria. SLICC criteria is more sensitive; it is better to be used to screen patients and hasten the management of the disease.
