Intoksikasi asam jengkolat atau djenkolism merupakan salah satu penyebab gagal ginjal akut di Asia Tenggara. Manifestasi klinisnya dapat bervariasi. Dengan diagnosis dan tata laksana yang tepat, penderita dapat sembuh tanpa sekuele.
Djenkolic acid intoxication or djenkolism is one of the causes of acute kidney failure in Southeast Asia. The clinical manifestations may vary. Patients can recover without sequelae with proper diagnosis and management.
