Abstrak

Penuaan adalah salah satu periode siklus kehidupan yang disertai perubahan fisiologi dan anatomi seiring bertambahnya usia biologis. Berbagai metode pencegahan dan tata laksana dilakukan untuk mengurangi tampilan facial aging, salah satunya prosedur minimal invasif. Dermal filler atau soft tissue filler merupakan salah satu tindakan minimal invasif yang bertujuan untuk mengembalikan volume wajah dan augmentasi area tertentu. Dua kategori dermal filler, yaitu yang bersifat non-biodegradable dan biodegradable. Filler biodegradable dikenal sebagai collagen stimulator. Penggunaan collagen stimulator seperti polycaprolactone (PCL), calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHa), dan poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) semakin populer karena kemampuannya merangsang produksi kolagen baru secara alami, memberikan hasil yang bertahan lama dan tampak natural. Setiap jenis memiliki karakteristik, indikasi, dan teknik injeksi yang berbeda, sehingga pemilihan produk dan metode harus disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pasien. Efek samping seperti edema, nodul, atau reaksi infamasi dapat diminimalkan dengan teknik yang tepat dan dilakukan oleh tenaga medis profesional. Dengan perkembangan teknologi dan pemahaman yang lebih baik, collagen stimulator menjadi solusi efektif untuk rejuvenasi dan augmentasi jaringan lunak di bidang estetika.
