Abstrak

Pendahuluan: Menopause menimbulkan gejala somatik, gejala psikologis, dan gejala urogenital yang termasuk faktor risiko insomnia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan gejala-gejala menopause dan insomnia pada pra-lansia. Metode: Studi deskriptif analitik dengan metode potong lintang. Variabel penelitian ini yaitu gejala menopause dan tingkat keparahan insomnia yang diukur dengan kuesioner MRS dan kuesioner ISI. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 107 pra-lansia menopause di salah satu gereja di Tangerang Selatan yang diambil dengan metode convenience sampling. Analisis data meliputi analisis univariat (statistik deskriptif) untuk melihat karakteristik sampel dan analisis bivariat dengan uji Kruskal-Wallis untuk menguji hubungan gejala menopause dan tingkat keparahan insomnia. Hasil: Didapatkan hubungan bermakna antara gejala menopause dan tingkat keparahan insomnia (p < 0,05). Peringkat rata-rata terbesar dari responden yang mengalami insomnia klinis sedang memiliki gejala somatik (90,44), peringkat rata-rata terbesar dari responden yang mengalami insomnia awal memiliki gejala psikologis (75,59), dan peringkat rata-rata terbesar dari responden yang tidak mengalami insomnia memiliki gejala urogenital (42,91). Simpulan: Gejala menopause berhubungan signifikan dengan tingkat keparahan insomnia pada pra-lansia.
