Introduction: Tinea imbricata (TI) is a chronic-recurrent dermatophytosis caused by Trichophyton concentricum (TC), which is endemic in the tropics. TI mainly infects certain indigenous populations in remote and isolated villages. Cases: Two TI cases with family relationship, with skin scaling and itching. Diagnosis is based on anamnesis, typical clinical findings, and 10% KOH examination. Treatment with oral griseofulvin and topical miconazole cream 2% twice daily for six weeks showed good result.
