COVID-19, kardiovaskularAbstrak
Cardiac involvement is common and a poor prognostic factor for COVID-19; myocardial infarction (MCI) and heart failure contribute to 40% death in COVID-19 patients. The mechanism has not been studied thoroughly; this damage may be due to increased heart workload associated with respiratory failure and hypoxemia triggered by COVID-19 infection, direct myocardial infection by SARS-CoV-2, systemic inflammatory response, or a combination of these three factors.
