Abstrak

Ulkus plantar atau disebut juga ulkus neuropati merupakan penyebab paling sering kecacatan serius (10%-20%) pada pasien lepra. Penyembuhan ulkus yang tidak sempurna akan menimbulkan sikatriks yang dapat memicu siklus ulkus-sikatriks-ulkus, sehingga sulit sembuh. Tata laksana ulkus plantar masih merupakan tantangan.   Plantar ulcer or neuropathic ulcer is the most common cause of serious disability (10%-20%) among leprosy patients. Poor ulcer healing will cause scars that can trigger the ulcer-scar-ulcer cycle, making it difficult to heal. Treatment of ulcer in leprosy patient is still challenging.
