Abstrak

Sepsis adalah kondisi klinis disfungsi organ yang berpotensi mengancam nyawa. Skor Pediatric Logistic Organ Dysfunction 2 (PELOD-2) sering digunakan untuk memprediksi kematian pasien sepsis. Sebagian besar penelitian menemukan adanya peningkatan nilai MPV pada pasien sepsis, baik neonatus maupun dewasa. Nilai MPV dapat dijadikan salah satu parameter untuk menilai prognosis pasien sepsis.

Sepsis is a clinical condition of organ dysfunction that potentially life-threatening. Pediatric Logistic Organ Dysfunction 2 (PELOD-2) is used to predict mortality in patients with sepsis. Many studies found increased MPV value in sepsis (neonates and adults). MPV can become a prognostic parameter in sepsis
