Perempuan 65 Tahun dengan Gangguan Skizoafektif Very Late Onset dan Withdrawal Benzodiazepine

Gangguan skizoafektif ditandai dengan kombinasi gejala skizofrenia dan gejala gangguan afektif yang muncul bersamaan. Artikel ini melaporkan kasus pada perempuan usia 65 tahun dengan gejala psikotik dan agitasi. Pasien didiagnosis gangguan skizoafektif tipe bipolar dengan benzodiazepine withdrawal atas dasar adanya gejala skizofrenia dan riwayat penghentian benzodiazepine mendadak. Pasien dapat melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari secara mandiri meskipun hubungan sosial terganggu. Awitan skizoafektif setelah usia 60 tahun sangat jarang. Gejala yang tidak khas ditambah komorbiditas fisik atau gangguan mental lain dapat menyulitkan diagnosis.
