Tinea Inkognito – Diagnosis dan Tata Laksana

Penyalahgunaan obat steroid tanpa resep dokter dan tanpa didahului pemeriksaan mikologi jamur, dapat menyebabkan tinea inkognito. Tinea inkognito adalah infeksi dermatofita yang telah kehilangan manifestasi khasnya, sehingga dapat menyebabkan kesalahan diagnosis. Gambaran klinis tinea inkognito dapat meniru diagnosis dermatologis lainnya, seperti lesi polimorfik bulat atau oval dengan batas tegas, serta adanya vesikel dan gambaran skuama. Tata laksana utama tinea inkognito adalah menghentikan penggunaan steroid disertai pemberian terapi antifungal topikal ataupun sistemik yang sesuai.
