Author Guidelines

Cermin Dunia Kedokteran (CDK) accepts articles that discuss various aspects of medicine, pharmacy, and health. Articles sent to the Editor are articles that are specifically for publication by CDK (have not been published in other journals); if they have been discussed or read at scientific meetings, please provide information about the name, place, and time of the meeting.

GENERAL GUIDELINES
Articles should be written in Indonesian or English. If using the Indonesian language, it should follow the applicable Indonesian language rules (referring to the General Guidelines for Improved Indonesian Spelling, General Guidelines for the Formation of the Big Indonesian Dictionary). Medical terms should use standardized Indonesian terms as much as possible, or be given their equivalent in Indonesian. The length of the article ranges from 2,000-3,000 words (abstract to conclusion), written with MS Word program, Times New Roman font size 12. The article will be checked with Turnitin application, and the maximum similarity index limit is 25%.

ABSTRACT AND KEYWORDS
Each article must be accompanied by an abstract in Indonesian and English, accompanied by 3-5 keywords arranged alphabetically. Abstracts are written in 1 (one) paragraph and, for research articles, are structured in the introduction, methods, results, discussion (IMRAD) format. The length of the abstract is 150-300 words. If it is not available, the Editor has the right to make his own abstract in Indonesian and English.

Name(s) of the author(s): Listed in full (not abbreviated), along with professional titles (General Practitioner, Specialist Doctor Education Program, Specialist Doctor).
Author's Institution: Information on the institution/faculty/institute where they work and e-mail address.

TABLE/GRAPHIC/PICTURE/CHART
Tables/graphics/images/charts that complement the article are made as clear as possible and sent separately in JPG format (minimum resolution of 150 dpi with actual size). Information on the table/graphic/image/chart should be written in Indonesian as much as possible.

LITERATURE

Manuscripts will be prioritized for those that use at least 3 (three) CDK manuscripts as bibliography.
The bibliography is organized according to Vancouver rules. References are numbered in the order in which they appear in the article. If the authors are six or fewer, list all; if seven or more, list the first six and add et al. A minimum of 15 pieces of literature, published within the last 10 years or more recent. There should be more primary literature (from journals, a minimum proportion of 40%) than secondary literature. An example of a literature review format according to Vancouver rules and include the DOI (Digital Object Identifier) or PMID (PubMed Identifier) in each bibliography (if any):

All statements in the article are the responsibility of the author. The editor reserves the right to change the language without changing the content. Unpublished articles are returned to the author upon request. Given that CDK can now be accessed via the internet (online), articles that have been published will certainly be more easily downloaded and utilized by a wider audience. Further correspondence will be conducted via e-mail.
