Abstract

Coronavirus disease 2019 is an infectious disease caused by coronavirus species - severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The first known case was reported in Wuhan, China, in December 2019, and became pandemic in March 2020. Radiology has an important role in screening and diagnosis of general pneumonia, including COVID-19 pneumonia. Thorax CT-scan examination has 71% sensitivity because several disease mimic COVID-19; but some specific appearance can differentiate with other lung diseases. CT-Scan may be useful while waiting for reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) result for definite diagnosis of COVID-19 pneumonia
