Issues affecting adolescents and students are the subject of research whose findings are reported in this edition of Cermin Dunia Kedokteran; acne vulgaris is a common problem during adolescence; although it is generally not life-threatening, it often causes psychological distress; the findings of a study conducted in Surakarta may serve as a basis for counseling and management.   This issue also includes a discussion of eye health problems associated with computer use. Although the research was conducted during the pandemic, the findings remain relevant given the increased use of computers—even at a young age—and therefore adequate preventive measures are necessary.   Rabies may not be a major issue in large cities, but it still warrants attention, particularly in certain areas, especially since most cases are fatal. Several dermatology cases round out this issue, including diagnostic approaches to onychomycosis and the management of basal cell carcinoma; other case reports are expected to sharpen colleagues’ diagnostic and management skills, such as complications of hyperemesis gravidarum and esophageal strictures caused by corrosive substances. Additionally, a review of the benefits of PSA testing for prostate cancer screening may inform clinical management.
