Research reports from community health centers are very interesting to read, not only because they represent the Indonesian population, but also because they reflect a spirit of research and report writing among clinicians; the data generated will be very useful for obtaining a realistic picture of the public health situation in Indonesia, which can then serve as the basis for more relevant policy-making. Similarly, reports on asthma characteristics can help manage the disease in line with conditions in Indonesia.
Several case reports on reproductive and childbirth issues are expected to enhance practice-applicable knowledge, supplemented by a review of Down syndrome; these are likely to be useful for all colleagues. Additionally, the discussion on the Nipah virus—an endemic disease in other countries that warrants vigilance—also highlights the risk of its transmission in Indonesia.     Cover image source: chormail-Envato.
