Terapi inhalasi nebulisasi merupakan pemberian obat inhalasi menggunakan alat nebulizer. Cara terapi ini efektif dan efisien untuk menghantarkan obat dalam bentuk aerosol langsung ke saluran pernapasan dan paru secara cepat dan relatif aman dibandingkan terapi sistemik. Jenis obat yang sering diberikan dengan nebulizer adalah obat bronkodilator, mukolitik, dan antiinflamasi.
Nebulization therapy is an inhalation therapy using a nebulizer device. Nebulization is an effective and efficient method to deliver drugs in the form of aerosols directly to the respiratory tract and lungs and is relatively safe compared to systemic therapy. Drugs that are often administered with a nebulizer are bronchodilators, mucolytics, and anti-inflammatory drugs.
