Cermin Dunia Kedokteran (CDK) journal is a scientific medical journal that focuses on the development of medical science, pharmacy, and public health, oriented towards evidence-based practice, service innovation, and the integration of health policies in local, national, and global contexts. Articles are published under an open-access policy. Manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process; at least one reviewer will review articles relevant to the topic of the manuscript especially research articles, systematic reviews, meta-analysis articles, and evidence base case reports. The journal is published monthly (January to December).
Current Issue
Articles on anesthetic drugs can help expand knowledge and serve as a basis for selecting the appropriate anesthetic formulation while remaining mindful of the risks of side effects. For hospital administrators, reviews on the costs of appendectomy can serve as a basis for improving efficiency without compromising the quality of care and treatment outcomes.
Several case reports discuss various relevant issues to broaden insight and knowledge regarding conditions that may be encountered in clinical practice, including awareness of hypoglycemia in patients without diabetes mellitus; guidelines for determining when an athlete can resume training after an injury; and shared experiences in managing cases with limited resources.
