Hubungan Tingkat Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Cairan dengan Tingkat Kecemasan pada Mahasiswa Program Studi Kedokteran Universitas Tanjungpura

Pendahuluan: Asupan cairan yang tidak mencukupi berkaitan dengan peningkatan emosi negatif seseorang, sedangkan peningkatan kecemasan memiliki prevalensi tinggi di kalangan mahasiswa kedokteran, dan ini dapat memengaruhi performa akademik mereka. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pemenuhan kebutuhan cairan dengan tingkat kecemasan mahasiswa Program Studi Kedokteran Universitas Tanjungpura angkatan 2019. Metode: Desain penelitian analitik cross-sectional dengan jumlah subjek penelitian 78 orang yang direkrut dengan teknik total sampling. Kuesioner penelitian ini adalah BEVQ-15 hasil terjemahan dan modifikasi penulis serta Zung’s SAS bahasa Indonesia, dengan validitas dan reliabilitas keduanya telah teruji. Analisis hubungan antar 2 variabel dengan uji Spearman rank-order correlation coefficient (non-parametrik). Hasil: Sebagian besar (74,4%) mahasiswa yang diteliti memiliki tingkat pemenuhan kebutuhan cairan yang tidak mencukupi, rata-rata mahasiswa memenuhi 87,3% kebutuhan cairan harian mereka. Sementara itu, kecemasan mahasiswa ditemukan ada pada tingkat ringan (88,5%) dan sedang (11,5%). Uji korelasi Spearman menunjukkan bahwa hubungan tingkat pemenuhan kebutuhan cairan dan tingkat kecemasan mahasiswa Program Studi Kedokteran Universitas Tanjungpura angkatan 2019 memiliki nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,580 (p > 0,05). Simpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara tingkat pemenuhan kebutuhan cairan dengan tingkat kecemasan pada mahasiswa Program Studi Kedokteran Universitas Tanjungpura angkatan 2019.
